The popular British TV Channel 4 show, One Born Every Minute, gives an insight into the realities of birth in the UK today. The BAFTA award-winning show follows a group of midwives in a maternity ward at the Princess Anne in Southampton and in series three, the Leeds General Infirmary. The show title is totally misleading, however, it appears in the title, that every minute a child, a fact that is inaccurate born.
