A common denominator in the lives of people today is stress, but many people have reactions to stress, which is unhealthy. And really, we all tend our standard responses to stress, which are generally selfish, defensive, sin - well, you get the picture.
When we learn the unhealthy responses, stress, we can change these answers and renew our hope for peace and tranquility in our lives - the way God intended it.
If a sampling bent over by the wind, it will bounce back when the stress lasts too long and it breaks. If you go into the woods and find a tree about 10 feet high, you will notice that when you turn it and hold it there for a few minutes, it is completely back on its feet when it to its upright position let it go.
But when you turn it and hold it for a long time, and then turn it some more, and then some more, it will eventually break. When you let go, it will not bounce back - it is broken.
